Launch Parade & Fun Day
The 2013 Warriors Festival will be launched on SUNDAY 5TH MAY 2013 with a street parade of local community groups that takes place from The Rugby Club to the Beachfront starting at 3pm. All Community, Sports, Social and School Groups from the Strandhill/Coolera area are welcome to participate, please EMAIL US before FRIDAY 3RD MAY to let us know you will be in attendance if you have not already contacted us.
There will be a family fun day at the beachfront from 3.30pm to 5.30pm with bouncy castles, facepainting and musical performances from choral and dance groups and there will be a fancy dress competition for families.
Also the Festival Committee are delighted to host a HB ICE CREAM FUNDAY on the day with delicious ice cream for sale and all proceeds going to Down Syndrome Ireland.
Details of all Festival Events for 2013 will be announced including the opening of online registration for the 29th Annual Warriors Run.
AGM For 2013 Festival and Run
The Annual General Meeting for the 2013 Warriors Festival will take place on Wednesday 5th December 2012 at 9pm in The Strand Bar, Strandhill where a review of the 2012 Festival will take place with reports from the Chairman and the Secretary of the Festival Committee. The accounts for 2012 will also be reviewed and on display.
New members always welcome. Why not come along and be part of one of the biggest Festivals in the Sligo Area.
